I've got no life.
All my fingers are calloused from typing on keys.
Half ton of strife.
Half my time is spent searching what they're saying 'bout me.
The other half's writing events of my day,
like brushing teeth and gargling with Scope,
and sharing disasters, whose boyfriend's away,
and overfilling laundry with soap.

    I have TOPPED OUT ON TWITTER.
    I have spaced out on MySpace.
    It's time I faced up, don't want to Facebook anymore.
    I have TOPPED OUT ON TWITTER.

    Don't want to admit I'm such a social networking whore.

I've got no life.
Who are all these "friends" who are wanting my "add"?
Worse than a wife,
I'm a slave to keep reading, waste the time that I have.
But most of what's written is B.S. galore,
just empty phrases going nowhere,
or shameless promotion just trying to score.
It's time I realized I don't care.

        No more Facebook days on end.
        I'm linked out of that damned LinkedIn.
        I've lost nine thousand MySpace friends.

        This social network's down, closing all accounts
        and I'm glad I fin'ly stopped.

I've got a life.
Somewhere out there in real time, it's waiting for me.
Real days and nights
with real people adventures and addictive TV.
So much I've been missing, so much I have lost.
So much time's been wasted or cut.
Now, my life's dedicated, regardless the cost,
to watch ev'ry re-run to catch up.
